ℹ️ Our client is seeking an experienced Senior Application Database Administrator to maintain the performance, reliability, and security of their DB2/SQL databases.

Responsibilities:

✅Administer and maintain IBM Db2 databases hosted on AWS RDS, ensuring high availability, security, and reliability.

✅Monitor database performance using Amazon CloudWatch, Enhanced Monitoring, and database diagnostic tools.

✅Provide technical guidance on best practices for AWS RDS Db2 usage, including connection management and scaling strategies.

Mandatory expertise needed:

✅Extensive hands-on experience administering IBM DB2 databases in enterprise environments.
✅Experience with DB2 performance tuning, query optimisation, and workload management.
✅ Hands-on experience with cloud database platforms such as AWS RDS for DB2/SQL, Azure, or IBM Cloud.
