SENIOR BUSINESS ANALYST
We are currently seeking two experienced Senior Business Analysts to join a large Queensland Government technology division delivering complex business and technology transformation initiatives.
Working across business and technical teams, you will lead discovery activities, facilitate workshops, gather and manage requirements, and help shape future-state processes and services that support critical government operations.
THE ROLE
- Leading business analysis activities across complex ICT and business change initiatives
- Facilitating workshops, stakeholder engagement sessions, and process improvement discussions
- Gathering, analysing, and managing business, functional, and non-functional requirements
- Developing process maps, user stories, recommendations, and project documentation
- Working closely with business and technology stakeholders to identify improvement opportunities
- Supporting testing, user acceptance activities, and solution validation
- Assisting with capability uplift, knowledge transfer, and embedding new ways of working into BAU environments
IDEAL CANDIDATE
- Demonstrated experience as a Senior Business Analyst delivering complex ICT or business transformation projects
- Strong end-to-end requirements management skills
- Proven ability to engage and influence both business and technical stakeholders
- Excellent workshop facilitation and stakeholder management experience
- Strong process mapping, business analysis, and documentation skills
- Experience producing high-quality project artefacts and working within established governance frameworks
- Exposure to testing, UAT, and change adoption activities will be highly regarded
- Previous Queensland Government or public sector experience is highly desirable

WFH ARANGEMENTS
- For the first three months, successful candidates will be required to work onsite full time to support stakeholder engagement, project delivery, and relationship building.
- Following this period, approved flexible working arrangements may allow up to two days per week working from home.
