We are seeking two highly skilled Senior Cloud Professional Project Managers to drive complex, high-stakes programs that require top-tier security clearance and strategic oversight. About the Role:

As a Senior Cloud Project Manager, you will oversee vital streams within an unprecedented Program, ensuring the seamless planning, execution, and delivery of large-scale cloud initiatives in a secure, agile environment. You will manage diverse teams of technical and non-technical specialists, liaise with internal stakeholders, commercial vendors, and allied agencies, and uphold strict security standards such as ISM and PSPF.

Required Skills:

• Proven experience delivering large-scale cloud projects within defence or intelligence government sectors, managing multiple priorities and stakeholders.
• Strong leadership skills in managing multidisciplinary teams, delegating effectively, and mentoring staff.
• Demonstrated success managing cloud initiatives, particularly with Amazon Web Services (AWS) in a delivery leadership capacity.
• In-depth understanding of Australian Government information security policies, including ISM and PSPF.
• Exceptional stakeholder engagement, communication, and risk mitigation abilities.
• Ability to develop contingency plans and adapt to evolving project environments.
• Experience managing programs in sensitive TS environments, with a focus on security and compliance.

Nice to Have Skills:

• Certification in project management frameworks (PMP, Prince2, or equivalent).
• Experience with Agile methodologies, including Microsoft ADO and GovTEAMS.
• Background in Security Authority to Operate (ATO) processes.
• Familiarity with security architecture and assessment processes.
• Prior work with other cloud providers beyond AWS.

Preferred Education and Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Analysis, or related fields.
• Minimum of 8 years’ experience leading complex cloud projects, with at least 3 years in a security-sensitive environment.
• Previous experience working on Top Secret (TS) classified systems.

Other Requirements:

• Must hold or be able to obtain Australian Top Secret Positive Vetting (TSPV) clearance at the time of application.
• Australian citizenship is mandatory; security clearance upgrades are not sponsored.
• Willingness to work onsite at the ACT office with limited WFH arrangements.
• Ability to commit to a 12-month initial contract with potential extensions.
