SENIOR ICT PROJECT SUPPORT OFFICER
Are you an experienced Senior Project Officer with a passion for supporting large scale digital transformation and ICT initiatives? This role offers the opportunity to work across complex, high impact programs that are driving technology and service improvements across a major organisation.
THE ROLE:
As the Senior Project Officer, you’ll play a key role in ensuring the smooth delivery of multiple ICT and digital transformation projects. You will provide critical project administration and coordination support to Program and Project Managers, enabling them to focus on strategic delivery.
ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Managing and maintaining project documentation, registers, and plans
- Preparing progress reports, financial summaries, and dashboards
- Supporting the monitoring of budgets and purchase orders using SAP
- Coordinating meetings, workshops, and governance forums
- Assisting with secretariat duties including minute-taking, action tracking, and agenda preparation
- Maintaining project information in tools such as SharePoint, Microsoft Project, Planner, DevOps, and Enterprise Project Online
- Supporting stakeholder engagement across diverse internal and external groups
IDEAL CANDIDATE
- Proven experience as a Senior Project Officer supporting ICT or digital transformation projects
- Strong understanding of Prince2 and/or Agile project management methodologies
- Excellent organisational and documentation skills with high attention to detail
- Experience with SAP, SharePoint, and project management tools
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a project team
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
- Desirable experience includes prior work within government or large enterprise environments.
