Senior Developers – Integration (.NET) & Full Stack (React/.NET)

We are currently seeking two highly experienced Senior Developers to join a major digital transformation and application development program delivering modern, secure and scalable platforms within a complex enterprise environment.

These roles will play a key part in designing, building and deploying cloud-based applications and integration services on Microsoft Azure, supporting high-visibility digital initiatives that deliver critical services across government and the broader community.

Working within a multidisciplinary delivery team, you will collaborate closely with UX designers, architects, analysts, data engineers, testers and other developers to build robust, secure and user-centred digital solutions.

Role 1: Senior Integration (.NET) Developer ( 6 months contract – potential extension)

You will design and develop integration services and APIs that enable seamless data exchange between internal and external systems.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and develop .NET applications (C#, ASP.NET Core, Web API) and integration services in Azure environments.
• Build and maintain RESTful APIs and microservices to connect enterprise systems.
• Implement Azure services including App Services, Functions, API Management, Azure SQL and Storage.
• Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps.
• Ensure integration solutions meet security, performance and scalability standards.
• Collaborate with architects and delivery teams to resolve integration challenges.
• Maintain technical documentation and participate in code reviews and standards enforcement.

Role 2: Senior Full Stack Developer (.NET and React/ Angular or similar frameworks)

(12 months contract – potential extension)

You will contribute to the design and delivery of a modern end-to-end application, building both the user interface and backend services for a highly visible digital platform.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop modern web applications using React and .NET / .NET Core.
• Design and implement backend APIs and microservices supporting complex business workflows.
• Build and optimise relational databases (PostgreSQL / SQL Server).
• Deploy and host applications using Azure App Services and cloud-native services.
• Implement secure authentication and identity management using Entra ID / Azure B2C.
• Establish reusable frameworks, coding standards and DevOps practices.
• Implement monitoring, logging and diagnostics for production environments.
• Ensure applications meet WCAG accessibility and government security standards.

Key Skills & Experience

• 5+ years’ experience as a Software, Full Stack or Integration Developer.
• Strong expertise in .NET / .NET Core, C#, and RESTful API development.
• Experience developing solutions on Microsoft Azure.
• Front-end development experience with React (for Full Stack role).
• Experience with relational databases such as PostgreSQL or SQL Server.
• Hands-on experience with Azure DevOps, Git and CI/CD pipelines.
• Strong understanding of microservices, integration patterns and scalable architectures.
• Experience implementing secure authentication and identity management (OAuth2 / OpenID Connect).
• Familiarity with cloud security, compliance and accessibility standards (WCAG).
• Experience working in Agile delivery environments.
