Key Responsibilities

• Partner with stakeholders to plan, develop, source, and manage procurement arrangements that meet program objectives.
• Undertake business needs assessments, supply market analysis, and commercial risk evaluations.
• Lead strategic sourcing activities and establish grant arrangements that deliver genuine value for money.
• Develop and administer contract management plans, negotiate variations, and monitor supplier performance.
• Provide high-level advice and guidance on procurement governance, probity, and best practice.
• Identify, manage, and mitigate procurement risks, ensuring full compliance with legislation and policy.
• Document all procurement processes and decisions to maintain probity and audit readiness.

Skills and Experience Required

• Strong experience in procurement and contract management within a complex, regulated environment (NSW Government experience highly desirable).
• Demonstrated ability to lead strategic sourcing and manage high-value, high-risk procurement or grant projects.
• Skilled in risk management, commercial negotiation, and stakeholder engagement.
• Knowledge of NSW Government procurement policies and frameworks (e.g., P&SC Framework) is highly desirable.
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to engage respectfully with Community Controlled Organisations.
• A proven track record of delivering results and managing competing priorities with integrity and professionalism.
