An opportunity is available for an experienced Senior ICT Project Manager to lead the delivery of a key digital transformation initiative within a large and complex organisation.
This role will be responsible for managing the end to end delivery of a new Client Relationship Management system supporting a major service delivery program. The successful candidate will work closely with internal teams, vendors, implementation partners and external stakeholders to ensure the solution is delivered on time, to quality, and with a strong focus on user experience, accessibility and inclusive design.
This is a complex ICT delivery role suited to a Senior Project Manager who can bring structure, leadership and calm execution across a high impact program.
About the role
You will provide senior project management and leadership across the planning, implementation and delivery of digital products within a broader transformation program.
A key focus of the role will be ensuring that solutions are fit for purpose, user centred and accessible, with compliance against WCAG 2.1 and inclusive design principles. You will also be responsible for managing project risks, change control, quality processes, stakeholder expectations and the successful transition of the solution into business as usual operations.
Key responsibilities
In this role, you will:
- Lead the planning, delivery and implementation of ICT projects within a complex program environment
• Manage project scope, timeframes, risks, issues, dependencies, quality and change control
• Work closely with vendors, implementation partners and internal project teams to achieve agreed outcomes
• Ensure user experience, accessibility and inclusive design considerations are built into project planning and delivery
• Engage with senior executives, project teams and diverse internal and external stakeholder groups
• Identify and resolve issues relating to information systems, applications, infrastructure compatibility and accessibility
• Monitor project progress and adjust delivery plans where required
• Maintain clear project documentation, including records of UX and accessibility considerations
• Support the transition of delivered solutions into business as usual operations
• Provide strong leadership, stakeholder management and communication across the program
About you
To be successful, you will bring:
- Demonstrated experience managing ICT project delivery in a complex or regulated environment
• Experience delivering user centred, accessible and fit for purpose digital solutions
• Strong vendor, contract and implementation partner management experience
• Strong stakeholder engagement skills across project teams, senior executives and diverse internal and external groups
• Experience using project methodologies such as PRINCE2 and Agile in a blended delivery environment
• Strong leadership, communication, negotiation and influencing skills
• Ability to work through ambiguity, manage competing priorities and keep delivery moving
• Strong documentation, governance and reporting capability
Highly regarded experience
Experience in any of the following would be highly regarded:
- Business reform, transformation or enabling change programs
• Large and complex service delivery environments
• Human services or community focused program environments
• Projects involving accessibility, inclusive design or user centred design improvements
• Knowledge of SAFe practices
• CRM or client relationship management system implementation experience
