We are seeking an experienced Senior Project Manager - Network
to lead the definition, planning, and delivery of complex technology and business-sponsored initiatives. This role is ideal for a delivery-focused professional with strong experience in network and infrastructure projects, stakeholder engagement, and end-to-end project lifecycle management.
You will work across a diverse stakeholder group, lead a small team and contractors, and drive delivery across technical, commercial, and operational streams. This is a hands-on opportunity for someone who can balance strategy, governance, and execution in a fast-paced environment.
Key responsibilities

Lead projects through the full project lifecycle, from initial scoping and business case support through to delivery and transition to support.

Engage and collaborate with sponsors, business owners, end users, support teams, technical SMEs, vendors, and project team members.

Manage a team of 2 – 3 project resources plus external contractors.

Define project objectives, scope, requirements, timelines, costs, and delivery approach.

Manage project scope, schedule, budget, risks, issues, dependencies, and deliverables.

Drive governance activities including working groups, status reporting, financial updates, and stage gate approvals.

Coordinate procurement activities and manage vendor and contract engagements.

Oversee change management, communications, release activities, and transition to support.

Promote strong health and safety practices across project delivery activities.

Ensure project deliverables are produced and maintained in line with the relevant delivery framework and tailored to project scale and complexity.

About you
You are a seasoned project delivery professional with strong experience leading network and infrastructure projects in complex operational environments. You are confident working with technical and business stakeholders, managing competing priorities, and delivering outcomes in structured delivery frameworks.
Skills and experience

Proven experience as a Senior Project Manager delivering technology infrastructure projects.

Strong background in network projects, including SD-WAN, Cisco environments, switch upgrades, and end-of-life replacement programs.

Experience delivering technical infrastructure initiatives in enterprise or operational environments.

Strong stakeholder engagement and vendor management capability.

Demonstrated experience managing project governance, financial reporting, and delivery documentation.

Ability to lead change, release, and transition-to-support activities.

Experience in mining, industrial, or other heavy operational environments will be highly regarded.

Familiarity with underground or remote site environments is advantageous.

Project management certification, such as PRINCE2 or PMP, preferred.

Relevant tertiary qualification preferred.
