About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Senior Project Manager / Project Lead to take ownership of a large-scale, high-value ICT business transformation program. This role is suited to a proven leader who thrives in complex environments, driving critical digital initiatives from design through to delivery.
You will be responsible for building and guiding high-performing teams, managing stakeholders at all levels, and ensuring successful delivery of enterprise solutions that directly impact education and frontline services across the Northern Territory.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the end-to-end delivery of a highly complex ICT business solution project.
- Oversee solution requirements, procurement, design, configuration, implementation, and transition into steady-state support.
- Establish and manage governance structures, project planning, risk, and issue resolution.
- Engage, influence, and negotiate with a broad range of stakeholders to ensure outcomes align with business priorities.
- Drive organisational change management and adoption through human-centred design and structured methodologies.
- Provide clear leadership in areas of probity, compliance, and strategic planning.
Essential Experience
- 10+ years’ experience delivering enterprise-scale ICT programs in large, complex environments.
- Formal qualifications in project management (e.g., PRINCE2, PMBOK, Agile certifications).
- Proven track record of delivering projects on time, within scope and budget.
- Strong leadership, interpersonal, and communication skills across business and vendor stakeholders.
- Expertise in governance, probity, risk/issue management, and strategic delivery.
- Demonstrated capability in large-scale organisational change and ICT integration programs.
- Stakeholder engagement experience, applying negotiation and human-centred design principles.
- Familiarity with Microsoft tools (SharePoint, MS Suite) and JIRA.
- Knowledge of IT Service Management frameworks.
- Previous experience working in government or regulated environments is highly desirable.

Mandatory Requirements
- Must relocate to Darwin for the duration of the contract(remote work not available).
- National Police Clearance(current).
- Working with Children (Ochre) Card(current or in progress).
