Senior SAP EPPM Functional Consultant - S4HANA
We are seeking an experienced Senior SAP EPPM Functional Consultant to join a large scale ERP transformation program, supporting the delivery of SAP S/4HANA Enterprise Portfolio and Project Management (EPPM) capabilities.
This is a long term contract opportunity offering flexible location across Australia, with the requirement to attend Brisbane on site up to two days per month (can be two consecutive days).
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Lead and support detailed design and configuration of SAP S/4HANA EPPM solutions, including PS and PPM
- Configure and manage EPPM data objects such as portfolios, initiatives, buckets and projects
- Conduct and support system, integration and user acceptance testing for EPPM components
- Work closely with business stakeholders, delivery partners and platform teams to ensure solutions are fit for purpose
- Provide subject matter expertise across EPPM processes, integrations and dependencies
- Identify and manage technical risks, issues and interdependencies across the ERP landscape
- Contribute to documentation, stakeholder reporting and solution governance activities
SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
- At least one full SAP S/4HANA greenfield implementation experience
- Strong functional expertise in SAP EPPM, including Project System (PS) and Portfolio & Project Management (PPM)
- Minimum 8 years’ experience delivering SAP PS and/or PPM implementations or conversions
- Demonstrated experience integrating EPPM with modules such as Finance (FICO), Materials Management (MM), and Enterprise Asset Management (EAM)
- Strong understanding of SAP architectures, integrations and dependent systems
- Experience working with delivery and dependency management tools such as Jira, MS Project or SAP CALM
- Excellent stakeholder engagement and communication skills across technical and non-technical audiences
- Strong analytical, problem-solving and organisational skills
- Ability to operate effectively in complex, fast-paced program environments
DESIRABLE
- SAP PS or PPM certification
- Experience working within large, complex ERP transformation programs
- Strong written documentation and executive-level reporting capability
- High emotional intelligence and proven ability to manage competing stakeholder priorities
LOCATION AND TRAVEL
- Candidates may be based anywhere within Australia - Brisbane, QLD Preferable
- Travel to Brisbane is required if working remotely up to two days per month (can be consecutive days)
