About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Senior Security Engineer to join an IS&T Security team and play a key role in supporting secure, resilient and modern technology services within a complex enterprise environment.

This is an opportunity to work across Windows 365, Microsoft Intune, Prisma, cloud security and enterprise technology environments, providing hands-on technical expertise while helping shape secure platform design, operational practices and technology improvements.

You will work alongside security, infrastructure, operations and architecture teams, while providing independent technical oversight and guidance to vendors, service providers and operational staff.

Key Responsibilities

• Support the operation, troubleshooting and optimisation of Windows 365 Cloud PC environments.
• Assist with the deployment, administration and troubleshooting of Microsoft Intune-managed mobile and endpoint devices.
• Support Prisma and enterprise systems integration, including investigation and resolution of complex technical and security issues.
• Contribute to security policies, standards, procedures and platform design updates.
• Provide security review and implementation support for cloud technologies and new technology implementations.
• Provide technical advice to ensure solutions align with security and organisational requirements.
• Investigate complex incidents and technical issues, identifying root causes and implementing sustainable solutions.
• Work collaboratively with security, infrastructure, architecture and operational teams to maintain effective service delivery.
• Provide technical oversight, guidance and review to technology vendors, managed service providers and operational teams.
• Work autonomously while engaging Enterprise and Solution Architects for broader architectural context, guidance and support.
• Identify opportunities to improve security, operational efficiency, resilience and technology service outcomes.

About You

You are a technically strong and security-focused engineer who can operate confidently across both cloud and enterprise environments. You bring a hands-on approach to troubleshooting and implementation, combined with the ability to provide technical oversight and make sound recommendations.

You will have:

• Strong experience supporting and administering Microsoft Intune.
• Strong experience with Windows 365 / Cloud PC environments.
• Experience with Prisma and enterprise systems integration.
• Strong understanding of Microsoft Entra ID, including Conditional Access, Enterprise Applications, access controls and PIM.
• Experience working across hybrid environments, including cloud and on-premises technologies.
• Experience with Microsoft Defender / EDR technologies.
• Demonstrated experience conducting security and compliance reviews for new technology implementations.
• Strong troubleshooting, analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
• Experience working with technology vendors, service providers and internal operations teams.
• The ability to work autonomously and provide credible technical guidance to stakeholders.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to translate technical and security requirements into practical outcomes.
