Full Stack Developer – Contract | Government Digital Program

Join a high-impact digital reform initiative within a major state government agency. You’ll be part of a specialised ICT team driving system enhancements, legislative change, and modern digital service delivery.

The Role

As a Full Stack Developer, you’ll contribute to both BAU and project-based releases across core platforms and web applications that support essential frontline services. You’ll work in a collaborative Agile environment alongside developers, architects, and business stakeholders.

What you’ll do

• Develop high-quality, scalable code aligned to technical specifications
• Contribute to solution design and system enhancements
• Build and maintain APIs and integrated services
• Support CI/CD pipelines, testing, and release activities
• Produce technical documentation and ensure best-practice delivery
• Collaborate across teams to deliver complex, high-value initiatives

What you bring

• 5+ years’ experience across full stack development
• Strong expertise in .NET (7+), REST APIs, and SQL Server
• Front-end experience with Angular (15+) and modern SPA frameworks
• Experience with Azure PaaS(e.g. Functions, App Insights, DevOps, Bicep)
• Solid understanding of API design, security, and integration patterns (OpenAPI/Swagger)
• Experience working in Agile environments with CI/CD practices
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to deliver in complex environments
