We are seeking a Senior Systems Administrator (Splunk) to manage, maintain, and optimise a Splunk Enterprise platform that supports operational and security analytics and strong service performance.

Key responsibilities

  • Administer and optimise the Splunk Enterprise environment including configuration, monitoring, upgrades, backup, and systems management
  • Act as an escalation point for complex incidents, service requests, and problem resolution
  • Coordinate upgrades, testing, maintenance, and change releases with internal teams and stakeholders
  • Improve service delivery using feedback and service metrics, and ensure SLA outcomes
  • Maintain documentation, processes, procedures, and reporting in line with standards
  • Mentor and coach team members on Splunk best practice

What you must have

  • Demonstrated Splunk Enterprise administration and problem solving experience, including Splunk Enterprise SaaS
  • Strong SPL capability, search optimisation, dashboard development, plus HTML5 and CSS
  • Experience integrating Splunk with enterprise platforms such as Office 365, Azure, Entra, SCOM, and AWS
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management across technical teams and vendors

Nice to have

  • Power BI and Fabric, PowerShell, endpoint protection, and VPN exposure
