SENIOR TEST ANALYST
We are seeking an experienced Senior Test Analyst to support a large scale investment technology program in Brisbane, QLD. This role will focus heavily on system integration testing across multiple platforms, with a strong emphasis on validating financial data and ensuring accuracy across systems.
This is a great opportunity to work within a complex, multi vendor environment where data integrity and reconciliation are critical to business outcomes.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Design and execute system testing and system integration testing across multiple platforms
- Validate financial data including positions, NAV, cash, trade files and security master data
- Ensure financial figures reconcile accurately across different systems and data sources
- Analyse data movement and transformations across interfaces and integrations
- Execute testing across API and file based integrations including SFTP transfers
- Capture detailed test evidence and maintain high quality documentation
- Log, manage and track defects using Jira and Xray
- Collaborate with business stakeholders, technology teams and external vendors
- Support UAT activities including environment preparation and issue investigation
- Provide clear and structured test reporting and progress updates
IDEAL CANDIDATE
- Strong experience in system testing and integration testing within complex environments
- Proven experience validating financial data and ensuring reconciliation across systems
- High attention to detail with a strong analytical mindset
- Experience working with financial services or investment platforms highly regarded
- Strong stakeholder engagement and communication skills
- Experience with Jira and Xray for test management
- Understanding of data flows, interfaces and end to end system behaviour
ROLE FOCUS
This role is heavily focused on testing financial figures and ensuring that data reconciles correctly across multiple systems. Accuracy, attention to detail and the ability to identify discrepancies in financial data are critical for success in this position.
