Service Designer - Baseline Clearance Required

Service Designer required for a contract role through to J anuary 2027, with strong extension potential.

Location: Melbourne or Canberra (Hybrid – 3 days office / 2 days WFH)
Requirement: Baseline Security Clearance (mandatory)

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design end-to-end, user-centred services aligned to business goals
  • Map customer journeys, service blueprints, and current/future states
  • Facilitate workshops, discovery, and co-design sessions
  • Translate user research into actionable design improvements
  • Collaborate with product, delivery, and technical teams
  • Identify service gaps, risks, and improvement opportunities
  • Ensure accessibility, usability, and inclusion standards
  • Support delivery with clear service design artefacts

Key Skills:

  • Strong experience in service design (journey mapping, blueprints)
  • Human-centred design and user research expertise
  • Workshop facilitation and stakeholder engagement skills
  • Experience working in Agile environments
  • Strong communication and storytelling ability
