ServiceNow Developer – Contract Role

Location: Melbourne / Canberra (Hybrid)

We are seeking ServiceNow Developers to join a project team delivering enterprise ServiceNow solutions. This is an initial 3-month contract with strong extension potential, operating in a hybrid work model (3 days in office).

Important:
There are 3 positions available. At least 1 role requires strong core ServiceNow platform development experience, and 2 roles require strong ServiceNow Service Catalogue experience.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and customize ServiceNow applications and modules

• Configure workflows, business rules, UI policies, client scripts, and platform components

• Develop integrations using APIs and web services

• Perform platform upgrades, patches, and troubleshooting

• Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and deliver solutions

• Support testing (unit, system, UAT) and maintain technical documentation

• Follow ServiceNow development best practices and ITIL processes

Required Skills

• Strong ServiceNow development experience (JavaScript / Glide API)

• Experience with ServiceNow modules such as ITSM, ITOM, HRSD, CSM, or SecOps

• Experience with ServiceNow Service Catalogue(for 2 of the roles)

• Knowledge of REST/SOAP APIs, HTML, CSS, XML

• Strong problem-solving and stakeholder communication skills

Nice to Have

• ServiceNow certifications (CSA, CAD, CIS)

• Agile or Scrum experience

• SQL / database knowledge

Mandatory Requirements

• Australian Citizen

• Active Baseline Security Clearance (minimum requirement)
