About The Role
Our Government client seeking an experienced IT professional to support a current vacancy in the team.
In this role, you will:
- Manage the operations of IT service management teams to proactively identify and resolve issues and problems to positively impact on productivity across the Agency
- Lead post-implementation reviews on IT project delivery, provide high-level written correspondence, and escalate risks and issues above delegation
- Provide expert advice and support to stakeholders on contract amendments, including performance schedules and service management matters from a technical and business perspective
- Understand, analyse and interpret Agency strategies; prepare plans that align own work and the work of others with the wider Agency IT platform, other business projects, the environment and broader Agency priorities and objectives
- Lead the development of a contemporary Service Catalogue, advancing new approaches in the implementation and operation of an integrated service management, governance and assurance model
- Resolve complex service management problems by developing and analysing alternative courses of action and identifying their implications on business
- Engage and collaborate with key stakeholders to identify opportunities, achieve outcomes and facilitate cooperation in an IT Service Management environment
- Plan, coordinate and prepare complex reports on service trends, risks, anomalies and variations for a variety of stakeholders across and external to the Agency

- Has excellent communication skills with the ability to produce clear, concise documentation.
Relevant certifications are regarded but not essential.
