Site ICT Manager (North / North East Adelaide)

Adelaide, SA | 6 months Contract (potential extension/ permanency)

Are you an experienced ICT leader passionate about using technology to support education and improve outcomes for students?

We are seeking a Site ICT Manager to lead ICT service delivery within a school environment. In this role, you will manage ICT infrastructure, oversee a technical support team, and work closely with school leadership to ensure technology services effectively support teaching, learning, and operational excellence.

This is a unique opportunity to combine technical leadership, stakeholder engagement, and strategic ICT planning in an environment that directly impacts student success.

The Role

As the Site ICT Manager, you will lead the delivery and continuous improvement of ICT services across the campus. You will oversee ICT operations, infrastructure, and support services while ensuring systems remain secure, reliable, and aligned with overall needs.

You will also play a key role in driving ICT projects, improving service delivery, and building strong relationships with leaders and stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and manage ICT operations and service delivery
• Manage and mentor a team of ICT Support Officers and trainees
• Plan and deliver ICT infrastructure and technology projects
• Maintain and secure network, server, and wireless environments
• Provide strategic ICT advice to the leadership team and other stakeholders
• Oversee hardware, software, and cloud solutions aligned with organisational needs
• Deliver advanced troubleshooting and technical support for complex ICT issues
• Collaborate with vendors and ICT teams to improve service outcomes

Skills & Experience

We are looking for a technology leader with strong operational and stakeholder management experience.

• Proven experience managing ICT teams in complex environments
• Strong knowledge of Windows Server, enterprise networking, and virtualisation platforms
• Experience with Learning Management Systems (LMS) and Mobile Device Management (MDM)
• Good skillset in emerging technologies such as Power BI and Power Automate
• Strong troubleshooting and technical problem-solving capabilities
• Experience delivering ICT projects and technology improvements
• Strong communication skills with the ability to engage technical and non-technical stakeholders
• Experience with PowerShell scripting or Microsoft Power Platform is advantageous
