We are seeking an experienced Senior Dynamics 365 Developer to join a major digital transformation program supporting the delivery of a new end-to-end Client Relationship Management system.
This role would suit a strong D365 developer who enjoys working in a small agile team, contributing to design discussions, building quality solutions, and supporting the full lifecycle from development through to deployment, release and operational support.
About the role
You will be responsible for the development, support and maintenance of Dynamics CRM solutions and associated products, including custom workflows, plug-ins, integrations, deployment and monitoring. The work forms part of a broader multi-year digital transformation program, with likely opportunity for extension for the right person as the program continues to evolve.
You will work closely with architects, technical leads, testers, product owners, business analysts and project teams to deliver fit-for-purpose Dynamics 365 solutions that are accessible, user-friendly and aligned to agreed development standards.
Key responsibilities
In this role, you will:
- Develop and maintain Dynamics 365 CRM solutions, including custom workflows, plug-ins, integrations and related components
- Participate in build, release and DevOps activities to support reliable delivery
- Work with architects and technical leads on design reviews and continuous improvement
- Collaborate with business analysts and product owners to translate requirements into functional and technical designs
- Participate in agile ceremonies, sprint planning, user story grooming and prioritisation discussions
- Work closely with testers and project staff to manage DevOps items, resolve defects and support sprint outcomes
- Create and maintain technical design, configuration and as-built documentation
- Conduct peer reviews of code, configurations and technical artefacts
- Support existing applications and assist with transition to operations
- Identify technical issues, risks and improvement opportunities across development practices, tooling and standards
About you
You will bring:
- Minimum 5 years’ experience in a Senior Dynamics 365 Developer role
- Strong experience across Dynamics 365 CRM, solution lifecycle management and managed solutions
- Experience with custom workflows, Cloud Flows, Power Automate, plug-ins, client-side development and Power BI
- Experience working with Git and Azure DevOps
- Strong understanding of Application Lifecycle Management, build and release processes
- Experience building and updating entity models for Dynamics 365 solutions
- Experience creating and updating technical design documentation
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft Azure services such as directory services, service bus, web services and DevOps pipelines
- Experience with Angular 6+, C#, HTML, CSS and Web APIs
- Ability to work well in a small agile team with tight deadlines

Experience in any of the following would be beneficial:
- Dynamics 365 Customer Service module
- Power Apps Portals as a front end for Dynamics 365
- Canvas apps / Unified Client Interface
- Azure integration and data migration services
- SQL Server and non-relational data platforms
- Client or case management systems
- SAFe or large program environments
- Accessibility standards such as WCAG 2.1 and inclusive design principles
