We are seeking an experienced Solution Architect to design and deliver high-quality, scalable, and maintainable technology solutions that align with government frameworks, enterprise standards, and strategic business objectives. This role will play a pivotal part in bridging business challenges with effective technology solutions, ensuring ICT risks are managed and benefits from ICT investment are fully realised.

Key Responsibilities

• Solution Design & Architecture: Translate business requirements into technical solutions; design end-to-end architecture; ensure compliance with enterprise standards, security, and performance.

• Technical Leadership: Guide development teams, review designs, and provide assurance on scalability, performance, and security.

• Stakeholder Engagement: Collaborate with analysts, PMs, SMEs, and external suppliers; communicate technical designs to both technical and non-technical audiences.

• Implementation Support: Resolve design-related issues during development; assist with performance tuning; ensure documentation and knowledge transfer.

• Governance & Standards: Maintain architectural documentation; ensure alignment with enterprise strategies; participate in architecture reviews and governance forums.

Required Skills & Experience

• Proven experience as a Solution Architect or in a similar role.

• Strong background in geospatial technologies, data, and databases.

• Expertise in cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP).

• Proficiency with integration technologies (APIs, microservices, ESB).

• Strong understanding of Agile, DevOps, and modern software development practices.

Highly Desirable

• 8+ years of solution design and delivery experience in large and complex environments.

• Experience across both public and private sector organisations.

• Knowledge of enterprise architecture best practices.

• Certifications such as TOGAF and/or AWS.
