We are currently seeking a highly skilled Solution Architect with strong Workday integration expertise to join our team on a 3 -month contract. This role is with a global leader in the resources sector, offering the chance to deliver critical digital transformation outcomes across large-scale IT/OT environments.

The Role

In this role, you will be responsible for translating complex business requirements into ICT solution architectures, with a strong focus on Workday and Azure integration. You’ll provide architectural leadership to ensure solutions align with enterprise goals, digital strategy, and security best practices.

Key responsibilities include:

• Leading the design and integration of Workday with Azure and enterprise systems.

• Producing conceptual and logical design documents, integration blueprints, and high-level costings.

• Collaborating with stakeholders, business analysts, and technical teams to shape and validate solutions.

• Developing prototypes and proof-of-concepts to address integration challenges early.

• Providing technical oversight to developers, engineers, and administrators to ensure smooth solution delivery.

• Ensuring security, compliance, and interoperability with existing systems.

• Assisting project managers with timelines, dependencies, and budget estimates.

About You

To succeed in this role, you will bring:

• Proven experience integrating Workday into Azure environments(must-have).

• 10+ years of experience in solution architecture, including system integration and enterprise-scale solution design.

• Strong technical expertise across infrastructure, security, networking, and data flows.

• Ability to document solution options, architecture diagrams, and design decisions clearly.

• Knowledge of security frameworks such as ISO27001 and NIST.

• Strong stakeholder engagement skills with the ability to communicate technical solutions in a business-friendly way.

• Relevant tertiary qualifications in technology, business, or related fields.
