Solution Architect – Large & Complex ICT Environment

Bring your expertise to one of Australia’s largest local government organisations, delivering impactful digital solutions that support critical community services.

We are seeking an experienced Solution Architect to design, review, and deliver solution options and roadmaps that align with enterprise architecture across a large-scale ICT landscape. This role offers the opportunity to work in a complex environment where your skills will directly shape the city’s digital future.

Key responsibilities and competencies:

• Lead solution architecture across multiple ICT domains in a large, complex organisation.

• Apply proven solution and project management methodologies to design scalable and sustainable solutions.

• Develop and present clear solution options, roadmaps, implementation approaches, and high-level designs.

• Engage with vendors and manage ICT procurement processes effectively.

• Collaborate with diverse stakeholders and cross-functional teams to achieve shared objectives.

• Produce high-quality written reports and presentations tailored to different audiences.

• Apply strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail to drive innovative outcomes.

Desirable skills:

• Familiarity with large local government or similar ICT environments.

• Hands-on experience with Genesys Cloud CX or other Genesys Cloud solutions, including integrations with Adobe Experience Manager and Microsoft Dynamics 365.

• Understanding of TOGAF principles.
