Our client is seeking a highly skilled Solution Architect with Defence experience to design and deliver a secure, scalable, and maintainable integration solution for a critical program.
Key Responsibilities

End-to-End Solution Design: Architect a bi-directional, near real-time integration for secure information sharing; develop Message Interface Specifications (MIS) covering field mappings, triggers, validation rules, and REST/JSON messaging formats.

Integration Architecture: Define and document system interfaces and migration pathways; establish network topology, payload structures, logging, monitoring, and auditability mechanisms.

Stakeholder Engagement: Work closely with Defence stakeholders, business users, and technical teams to align integration, security, and system architecture decisions with program objectives.

Governance & Standards: Provide architectural leadership, contribute to governance forums, and maintain architectural patterns, standards, and practices.

Platform Operating Model: Contribute to the design and adoption of a platform operating model to ensure long-term sustainability and user adoption.
Skills & Experience

Proven experience as a Solution Architect within Defence or secure Federal Government environments.

Strong background in integration design, messaging frameworks, and interface specifications (REST/JSON).

Expertise in secure network design, logging/monitoring, and compliance with Defence or PSPF/ISM standards.

Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills, with the ability to translate technical architecture into business value.

NV1 (minimum) security clearance.
