We are seeking an experienced Solution Architect to support a large-scale federal government program focused on modernising critical data, analytics, and decision-support capabilities.
This role will lead the development of solution architectures across business, application, and infrastructure domains, ensuring alignment with enterprise standards and supporting complex system integration in a secure, high-assurance environment.
You will work closely with program delivery teams, technical specialists, and stakeholders to shape architecture decisions and guide implementation across a multi-year transformation initiative.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the development of solution architectures across business, application, and infrastructure domains
- Define and deliver technical designs, architecture artefacts, and implementation plans
- Provide expert advice on solution design, integration, and technical direction
- Ensure alignment with architecture standards, security requirements, and governance frameworks
- Support change and delivery programs, ensuring appropriate tools, methods, and resources are in place
- Assess and manage technical risks, design deviations, and change requests
- Collaborate with stakeholders across delivery, assurance, and governance functions
Skills & Experience
We are looking for candidates with strong architecture and delivery experience, including:
- Proven experience as a Solution Architect within complex enterprise or government environments
- Strong experience designing solutions across application, data, and infrastructure layers
- Experience supporting large-scale transformation or capability uplift programs
- Ability to produce high-quality architecture artefacts and technical documentation
- Strong understanding of system integration, data flows, and enterprise architecture principles
- Experience working within structured governance and assurance frameworks
- Strong stakeholder engagement skills and ability to influence technical direction
