Role Summary

We are seeking a skilled Solution Designer – EDW to join our Data & Analytics team. The ideal candidate will play a key role in designing scalable, high-performance data solutions that enable business insights and strategic decision-making across the organization. You will collaborate closely with business stakeholders, data architects, and development teams to design robust and efficient data integration and reporting solutions within an Enterprise Data Warehouse (EDW) environment.

Employment Type: 6+ month contract

Key Responsibilities

• Design end-to-end data solutions aligned with business and technical requirements.

• Collaborate with business users and analysts to translate requirements into effective data models and integration workflows.

• Develop and optimize complex SQL queries and ETL workflows using Informatica PowerCenter or similar tools.

• Ensure solution designs adhere to EDW architecture principles and best practices.

• Work closely with developers, testers, and data architects throughout the solution lifecycle.

• Contribute to performance tuning, data quality improvement, and process automation initiatives.

Must Have Qualifications

• 5–6 years of experience in solution design within Enterprise Data Warehouse (EDW) environments.

• Strong expertise in Teradata and a solid understanding of EDW architecture.

• Hands-on experience with Informatica PowerCenter(or similar ETL tools).

• Advanced SQL skills with the ability to design and optimize complex queries.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to translate business needs into technical solutions.

• Sound understanding of data integration, ETL processes, and data flow across large-scale systems.

Good to Have

• Proficiency in UNIX shell scripting for data process automation.

• Experience within the banking or financial services domain, particularly in data integration and reporting.

• Exposure to cloud platforms(AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud) and their integration with EDW systems.

• Familiarity with data modelling, data governance, and data quality frameworks.

• Awareness of data security standards and best practices in enterprise data environments.
