SOLUTION ARCHITECT - MICROSOFT 365 SPECIALIST
ABOUT THE OPPORTUNITY
Are you a seasoned Solution Architect with a passion for driving modern workplace innovation? We are seeking a highly skilled Microsoft 365 Specialist to join a major strategic initiative within a large QLD government department . This is a rare, long term contract opportunity running until March 2028 , offering the chance to shape the digital future of both school and corporate environments across the state .
As the Solution Architect, you will serve as the technical lead for M365 utilisation, assessment, and enhancement . You will play a pivotal role in aligning platform capabilities with unique requirements, particularly for school settings during camps and emergencies, while ensuring a robust security posture across the enterprise . Your expertise will be critical in designing automated workflows and orchestration processes using Azure, delivering operational efficiencies that impact a workforce of thousands .
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Evaluate and integrate M365 solutions across diverse school and corporate settings by identifying gaps and developing seamless integration strategies .
- Design and optimise automated workflows using Azure Automation, PowerShell, and Logic Apps to drive cloud based operational efficiencies
- Drive change management and communication for platform updates by leveraging Microsoft resources like the Message Centre to ensure user engagement .
- Strengthen enterprise security by optimising the use of Microsoft Defender and implementing best practices for security management .
- Develop executive reporting frameworks that include visual roadmaps and key metrics to communicate strategic priorities to leadership .
- Support unique organisational needs by exploring tailored M365 solutions for communication and coordination in specialised environments .
IDEAL CANDIDATE
- Extensive M365 and Azure expertise , with a proven background in architecture, tools, and orchestration frameworks like Logic Apps .
- A proactive and innovative approach to solution design, with the ability to manage competing priorities in complex, large scale environments .
- Strong analytical skills used to align technical solutions with diverse user needs and create comprehensive executive dashboards .
- Exceptional stakeholder engagement abilities , featuring a collaborative mindset capable of building relationships across technical and corporate teams .
