Systems Integration Engineer (NV1 Required)

We are seeking an experienced Systems Integration Engineer to support the delivery and integration of complex ICT capabilities into operational environments.

This role is focused on ensuring systems are successfully integrated, validated, and transitioned into service, with a strong emphasis on coordination, planning, and operational readiness.

The Role

You will plan, coordinate, and assure the integration of systems, components, and services, ensuring they are ready for safe and effective handover into operations.

You will work across multiple teams and stakeholders to manage dependencies, align environments, and support structured verification, validation, and acceptance processes.



Key Responsibilities

• Plan and coordinate systems integration and transition activities across multiple environments
• Identify and manage integration dependencies, interfaces, and configuration baselines
• Develop integration and transition plans, including entry/exit criteria and acceptance evidence
• Support verification and validation (V&V) and acceptance processes
• Analyse integration risks, constraints, and sequencing impacts, providing mitigation strategies
• Coordinate multi-party technical activities, including schedules, environments, and test data
• Monitor integration execution and contribute to continuous improvement of integration practices

About You

You will bring experience working in complex ICT environments with a strong focus on integration, coordination, and transition into service.



Key experience includes:

• Background in systems integration across enterprise, tactical, or cloud environments
• Experience coordinating multi-team or multi-vendor technical activities
• Strong understanding of:
• integration planning
• environment readiness
• verification and validation
• Ability to produce clear technical documentation and acceptance artefacts
• Experience working in secure or regulated environments

Requirements

• Current NV1 security clearance (mandatory)
• Based in Canberra
