You’ll work in a collaborative, forward-thinking environment where your input will influence architectural decisions and technical strategy.
What You’ll Do
- Provide technical mentorship to developers, sharing best practices in software design, coding, and architecture.
- Lead discussions on system design, scalability, and performance improvements.
- Oversee the full SDLC and STLC, including robust testing practices and CI/CD pipelines.
- Collaborate with product owners and architects to align technical solutions with business goals.
- Champion engineering standards, documentation, and continuous improvement across the team.
- Play a key role in onboarding and nurturing new talent within the engineering team.
- Explore and implement new tools and technologies to keep the stack modern and efficient.
What We’re Looking For
- Strong software development experience (mid-level/senior)
- Strong experience in TypeScript, Node.js, and MongoDB.
- Experience with Express.js, React.js, and Jest is highly regarded.
- Strong understanding of software architecture patterns (microservices, event-driven, layered).
- Hands-on experience with cloud-native development, containerisation, and CI/CD.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to mentor and guide engineers.
- Track record of contributing to or leading architecture and design discussions.
- Experience working for startups is highly regarded
- (Nice to have) Experience with compliance, identity verification, or fintech platforms.
