The Role
As the Senior Advisor – Secure Digital Platforms (STPL7), you will:
- Deliver authoritative technical advice across secure networks, cross-domain gateways, and multi-cloud/hybrid platforms (SaaS, PaaS, IaaS).
- Lead technical engagement across national security stakeholders, ensuring clarity of requirements, robust design governance, and timely solution assurance.
- Translate complex architectural and integration challenges into actionable, executive-ready insights for senior decision-makers.
- Oversee and assure the design of secure, scalable, maintainable solutions aligned with security classifications, compliance frameworks, and the enterprise ICT strategy.
- Provide senior technical leadership across multi-disciplinary delivery teams, ensuring interoperability across cloud, on-prem, and cross-domain components.
- Embed architectural principles that uplift resilience, interoperability, and alignment across multiple high-security platforms.
- Mentor emerging technical leaders and support capability uplift through structured knowledge sharing.
About You — Skills & Experience
You have extensive experience operating in highly secure, highly regulated ICT environments, with demonstrated strengths in:
Technical Expertise
- Secure network design and high-assurance architectures
- Cross-domain and gateway technologies
- Cloud models (SaaS / PaaS / IaaS) across hybrid and multi-cloud ecosystems
- Zero Trust architecture, IAM, and PKI
- Systems integration and solution assurance in complex platform environments
Leadership & Influence
- Ability to brief and influence SES, CXO, and mission-critical stakeholders
- Proven experience leading multi-agency technical collaboration
- Strong communication, negotiation, and advisory capability
Frameworks & Compliance
- Working knowledge of ISM, PSPF, DSPF, ZAA or equivalent high-security governance frameworks
- Proven ability to ensure alignment between solution designs and security classifications
Clearance
- NV1 clearance minimum
- NV2 highly desirable
Highly Regarded
- CTO-level advisory or technical governance experience in secure identity, PKI, Zero Trust or cross-domain platforms
- Experience in national security capability programs
- Background designing or assuring secure platform integrations at enterprise scale
