Technical Architect

About The Role:

Our client is looking for Technical Architect who will provide technical leadership and architectural assurance across ICT landscape.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain ICT architecture standards, models, roadmaps and policies
• Provide architectural oversight for complex or high-risk technology initiatives
• Ensure solutions meet security, compliance, and industry standards
• Lead development of infrastructure architecture practices, tools, and procedures
• Build proof-of-concept environments to validate solution design and reduce risk
• Guide monitoring strategies to improve service delivery and performance
• Advise stakeholders on emerging technologies and innovative solutions
• Support ICT budgeting, licensing strategies, and technology investment decisions

Essential Requirements

• Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Information Systems or related field or extensive equivalent experience
• Current IT Architecture certification (e.g. TOGAF)
• Certifications such as PRINCE2, ITIL, cloud or platform-specific credentials
• Knowledge of ICT governance, risk and compliance frameworks
• Strategic, holistic approach to enterprise architecture
• Strong expertise in cybersecurity, infrastructure, network, storage and hybrid/cloud architectures
• Experience designing and implementing enterprise platforms, business applications, cybersecurity systems, infrastructure, and IoT technologies
• Demonstrated experience with ICT business continuity and disaster recovery planning
• Experience delivering ICT projects involving organisational change
