TECHNICAL BUSINESS ANALYST
An exciting opportunity is available for a Technical Business Analyst to join a high-impact ICT transformation and service transition program within a large government-related organisation.
This long-term contract role will see you work closely with SMEs, architects, project managers, and external vendors to capture and translate technical and business requirements into practical solutions.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Elicit, analyse, and document functional and non-functional requirements
- Translate business needs into solution and integration requirements
- Develop user stories, use cases, process maps, and other key artefacts
- Support UAT and SIT, including test strategies, traceability, and defect management
- Facilitate workshops and interviews across technical and business units
- Maintain documentation aligned to governance and project milestones
SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
- Proven experience as a Technical Business Analyst on infrastructure or ICT transformation programs
- Strong understanding of SDLC, system integration, and technical documentation
- Experience in service transition, vendor handover, or managed services environments
- Ability to bridge the gap between business stakeholders and technical teams
- Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills
- Familiarity with tools like JIRA, Confluence, or similar
