Technical Business Analyst
📍 Adelaide CBD (Hybrid)
📄 12-Month Contract with potential extensions

We are seeking an experienced Business / Technical Analyst to support a large-scale transformation program, helping transition from legacy platforms to a modern finance solution.

Key Responsibilities

• Gather, analyse, and document business and technical requirements
• Facilitate workshops and stakeholder discussions
• Develop business requirements, user stories, and acceptance criteria
• Map current and future-state business processes
• Support system integration, data migration, and reporting requirements
• Collaborate with business stakeholders, technical teams, and vendors
• Assist with UAT, defect management, and implementation activities
• Maintain project documentation, process maps, and governance artefacts

About You

• 5+ years' experience as a Business Analyst or Technical Analyst
• Strong experience in requirements gathering and stakeholder engagement
• Proven background in transformation, migration, or integration projects
• Experience working across both business and technical teams
• Knowledge of process mapping tools (BPMN, Visio) and Azure DevOps
• Data analysis experience; SQL skills highly regarded
• Experience within education, government, or public sector environments is advantageous

Desirable

• Experience with finance systems transformation programs
• Exposure to data migration and reporting tools such as Power BI
• Relevant Business Analysis or Agile certifications
