Are you a seasoned SAP professional with deep expertise in S/4HANA and Master Data Governance? We are looking for a highly skilled SAP Technical Expert to lead and support our clients large-scale MDG initiatives within a large complex environment.
About the Role:
As a key member of our team, you will provide expert advice, drive the design, configuration, testing, and deployment of SAP MDG solutions, ensuring data integrity and seamless integration with S/4HANA. You will support data migration, system upgrades, and process improvements, collaborating closely with stakeholders to deliver high-quality data management solutions aligned with public sector standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, configure, and test SAP S/4HANA and MDG solutions
- Develop and implement data governance and management strategies for master data objects (Material, Financial, Customer, Vendor)
- Support data migration activities using Data Services, LTMC, and related tools
- Enhance SAP MDG systems via ABAP development and technical configuration
- Manage system upgrades, data archiving, and process improvements
- Liaise with stakeholders, ensuring governance, documentation, and stakeholder engagement
- Address complex system issues with innovative solutions
- Ensure compliance with Queensland Health and government policies, including confidentiality and data security
Ideal Candidate Profile:
- 5+ years of SAP MDG and S/4HANA experience, supporting large enterprise implementations
- Strong technical expertise in SAP MDG configuration, data models, workflows (BRF+), and data replication techniques
- Proven experience with data migration tools (Data Services, LTMC)
- Skilled in ABAP development for system customization and enhancements
- Familiar with SAP BTP (highly desirable)
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills
- Experience in healthcare or public sector environments is highly advantageous
