We’re partnering with a large, complex public sector organisation delivering high-impact digital services to the community. This is an opportunity to step into a Technical Test Lead role driving quality across modern web and mobile platforms within an Agile delivery environment.

🚀 The Role

As a Technical Test Lead, you’ll take ownership of end-to-end testing activities across web and mobile applications (iOS & Android), ensuring high-quality, accessible, and reliable digital solutions.

🔧 Key Responsibilities

• Analyse business and technical requirements to design effective test scenarios and test cases
• Lead execution of functional, integration, regression, UAT, smoke and sanity testing
• Test across web and mobile platforms(native, hybrid, responsive) on real devices and emulators
• Manage defects end-to-end using tools like Jira / Zephyr, ensuring timely resolution
• Validate cross-browser compatibility, usability, and accessibility standards
• Collaborate closely with developers to troubleshoot issues and verify fixes
• Contribute to Agile ceremonies (sprint planning, stand-ups, retrospectives)
• Provide test estimates, reporting, and risk assessments to stakeholders
• Maintain high-quality test artefacts (test plans, cases, reports)
• Support release cycles and post-release validation activities

✅ Required Experience

• Proven experience testing web and mobile applications
• Strong knowledge of QA methodologies and SDLC in Agile environments
• Hands-on experience in functional and system testing, with exposure to automation
• Familiarity with mobile testing tools, emulators, and simulators
• Experience with defect management tools(Jira, Azure DevOps)
• Basic understanding of API testing
• Strong analytical thinking and stakeholder communication skills

⭐ Nice to Have

• Experience with Adobe Experience Manager (AEM) environments
• Exposure to automation tools(e.g. Selenium, Java)
• Understanding of CI/CD pipelines and test integration
• Experience with cloud-based testing platforms
