TEST LEAD – FINANCIAL SERVICES
We are currently seeking an experienced Test Lead to join a large scale PCI Data Regulatory Program within a major financial services organisation. This pivotal role will oversee and manage end to end testing activities across a significant regulatory initiative, ensuring compliance, data integrity, and high-quality delivery outcomes.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Oversee and lead testing activities across the program.
- Develop and implement test strategies, test plans, and standard governance artefacts.
- Create dashboards and reports from a testing perspective to support visibility and governance.
- Perform hands on data validation and queries (SQL experience preferred).
- Ensure testing aligns with PCI compliance and data lifecycle management requirements.
- Define and maintain test documentation, ensuring traceability and audit readiness.
- Mentor and guide testing teams, promoting best practice and continuous improvement.
- Collaborate closely with technical and business stakeholders across multiple locations.
- Drive automation, CI/CD integration, and continuous testing practices where applicable.
IDEAL CANDIDATE
- Deep experience in PCI related projects and data lifecycle management.
- Strong background in test leadership, strategy, and governance across complex enterprise programs.
- Proven experience working within Agile delivery frameworks (e.g. SAFe, Scrum).
- Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills, with the ability to manage across business and technical teams.
- Comfortable working with distributed teams across Brisbane, Sydney, and Melbourne.
- Willingness to travel interstate if required (with sufficient notice).
- Flexibility to work 1–2 days per week in the office (project dependent).
- Desirable: Experience with Cloud technologies, Test Automation, and Non Functional Testing.
