Treasury Manager, FP&A Workers Compensation
Our client is searching for a Treasury Manager to specialise in FP&A for Workers Compensation. This is a newly created role offering broad exposure across the business. The successful candidate will play a critical hands-on role in financial analysis, strategy, and cost mitigation, working collaboratively with a range of internal and external stakeholders to deliver high-quality insights and service.
Responsibilities:
- Analyse historical claims data to identify cost drivers and trends, using these insights to accurately forecast future costs and liabilities.
- Partner with Safety, Health, Wellbeing, and Legal teams to develop and financially model high-impact initiatives that reduce claims costs and deliver tangible savings.
- Design and implement sophisticated financial KPIs to measure the performance of operational programs and link them to clear financial outcomes.
- Provide regular, insightful financial reporting to executive leadership, highlighting trends, risks, and opportunities.
- Support the annual actuarial valuation process, ensuring robust reserving and identifying financial risks.
About you:
- Relevant tertiary qualifications in accounting, finance, or a related field.
- Significant experience in workers’ compensation within a large corporate environment, ideally from an ASX-listed company, broker, or insurance firm.
- Proven ability to manage diverse stakeholders and exert influence to deliver on commitments.
- Strong experience in supporting decision-making in a complex and rapidly evolving business environment.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to turn insights into action and drive process efficiencies.
