UI Designer – Contract Role (Melbourne) - Baseline Clearance Required
- Contract until Jan 2027 (extensions likely)
- Hybrid: 3 days CBD office / 2 days WFH
About the Role
We’re looking for a UI Designer to create intuitive, user-centred digital experiences. You’ll work closely with cross-functional teams to turn requirements into clean, effective designs.
Key Responsibilities
- Design wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity UI
- Translate user and business needs into simple design solutions
- Conduct user research and usability testing
- Maintain design systems and UI components
- Collaborate with product, BA, and dev teams
- Ensure accessibility and responsive design standards
Skills & Experience
- Strong UI/UX portfolio
- Experience with Figma, Sketch, or Adobe XD
- Solid understanding of usability and accessibility
- Experience working in Agile teams
- Strong communication and stakeholder engagement
