Paxus is partnering with a Queensland Government entity who are currently undertaking a Service Delivery Transformation program to deliver enhance business services systems across multiple business units. As part of this transformation program, an opportunity for a Business Analyst to join their delivery office on a long term contract until May 2023 has become available.
Role/Responsibilities
As the Business Analyst, you will be responsible for undertaking business analysis activities for the delivery of two WHS solutions. Your responsibilities will include, but not be limited to:
Write epics and user stories to assist with development and testing of the solution/system. Determine business requirements and work closely with the vendor to ensure the requirements are met. Clarify requirements and user story details with product owners, testers and developers.
Manage relationships with program and project stakeholders including developing and running workshops, presentations and one-on-one sessions.
Provide timely and expert advice to the management team regarding system requirements, scope management, task progress and project risks. Contribute to project reporting to the program and project boards.
Document the business process layer and help enhance and safeguard the integrity of these processes and information flows at a business and enterprise level.
Skills/Experience
Previous experience working in a cross-functional, agile teams to deliver enterprise solutions within a complex organisation
Previous experience mapping and documenting interfaces and data flow between internal and external systems
High quality interpersonal skills with a strong customer focus and the ability to engage with a diverse range of stakeholder groups
Previous experience with the Appian platform will be highly regarded
