Job description
As a Content Editor you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the quality and accuracy of our clients educational materials. You will collaborate with content creators, educators, and subject matter experts to refine and enhance content across various platforms. This role involves copy-editing and proofreading responsibilities to maintain consistency, clarity, and adherence to educational standards.
Please note: this role is part time 3 days per week, no work from home flexibility, Adelaide CBD location.
Key Responsibilities:
- Copy-edit and proofread educational content, including digital resources, assessments, and instructional materials.
- Ensure content accuracy, clarity, and alignment with educational standards and curriculum guidelines.
- Maintain consistency in style, tone, and terminology across all educational materials.
- Conduct thorough reviews of content to identify and correct errors in grammar, punctuation, and spelling.
- Provide constructive feedback to content creators to enhance the effectiveness and relevance of educational materials.
Experience:
- Proven experience in content editing, copy-editing, or proofreading, preferably in an educational setting.
- Understanding of educational standards, curriculum frameworks, and instructional design principles (desirable).
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with meticulous attention to detail.
- Proficiency in grammar, punctuation, and spelling, with a keen eye for consistency and accuracy.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment and meet tight deadlines.
