- Melbourne CBD Based - Hybrid working model with 3 days from office
- Contract until end of June 2025 with likely extensions
- Must have Baseline Security Clearance
Work as an Environment Lead (Infrastructure Enablement Lead) with a leading Consulting firm on a Melbourne based Government sector project.
Responsibilities and Skills required include:
- Lead a team that will help client & App teams in defining, designing & creation of target infrastructure meeting end user requirements.
- Review existing processes, tools and technology being used at client and provide recommendations on enhancements.
- Ability to lead a team of Infrastructure Co-Ordinator(s) and Infrastructure Analysts on daily basis to ensure smooth functionality and consistent uptime with client environments.
- Regular catch-up with client infrastructure leads to understand upcoming scope and resolve conflicts.
- Hands-on experience with Oracle & SQL DBs.
- Certification and/or training on ITIL v4.
- Fluent in scripting tools including Terraform, Python, bash/shell/PowerShell.
- Advance level experience with VMware, Azure & AWS cloud technologies.
- Well versed with Windows and Linux Operating Systems installation, configuration & troubleshooting of L2 incidents for instances configured in On-premises and/or cloud.
- Must be willing to do actual hands-on work.
