Your role:

You will play a critical role in leading the IT Operations and Support team. You will be central to supervising the internal IT helpdesk and managing the maintenance, security, and operation of all their computing infrastructure. Your leadership will ensure the provision of efficient IT support services and foster a culture of continuous learning within the team.

Your responsibilities:

By merging your passion with your comprehensive implementation of the ITIL framework, you will guarantee the secure and efficient functioning of all computer systems, associated applications, hardware, and software utilised within the organisation, along with providing support to end-users by:

  • Ensure the secure and effective operation of all computing systems, applications, and infrastructure.
  • Manage cost-effectiveness through diligent monitoring and strategic vendor partnerships,
  • Uphold the security of IT systems through proactive updates and rigorous threat assessments.
  • Lead organisational IT projects and contribute technical expertise to ensure successful delivery.

Experience and qualification we are looking for:

  • Tertiary qualification in technology and/or ITIL certification
  • Proficiency in Microsoft software and systems, essential for the organisation Microsoft-focused operations.
  • Experience with vendor management, network administration, and IT security.
  • Understanding of SAAS and PAAS environments.
