About the Role:

  • Resolve challenges related to mine site communication infrastructure, including wireless and LTE Networks supporting Fleet Management Systems (e.g., MineStar, FrontRunner).
  • Analyze trends in equipment failures & telecommunication systems performance, recommending replacements or continuous improvement strategies.
  • Proactive monitoring of networks and systems performance, ensuring prompt responses to client needs.
  • Perform Root Cause Analysis (RCA) for incidents affecting asset availability or the site Fleet Management System (FMS) within service scope and SLAs.
  • Provide technical and system administration support related to applications.



Requirements:

  • Prior experience as a Mining Systems/Communications Technician (FIFO or Perth-Based).
  • Proficiency in Wireless OT Networks, such as: AVI, CISCO, Cambium, Rajant Wireless Hardware, TETRA/P25 Digital Radio Systems, IP Networks (Routing, Switching, Firewalls), and Point-to-Point Microwave Links.
  • Experience with Fleet Management Systems such as MineStar, Modular, and Jigsaw.
  • CCNA/CCNP/ITIL Certification (Desirable)
  • Background in Defence (Desirable)
  • LTE Support Experience (Desirable)
  • Candidates must be based in Perth, with full working rights.
