Are you a dynamic and experienced Brisbane based Technical Business Analyst with Baseline clearance looking for a new challenge? If so, this is an exciting opportunity in the heart of Brisbane, working on a key project within the federal government!
Position: Technical Business Analyst
Location: Brisbane, QLD; 2-3 days wfh
Clearance: Baseline Clearance Required
Key Responsibilities:
- Apply specialized skills to drive the development of critical projects within the federal government.
- Initiate, define, document, and deliver business analyst artifacts.
- Own and manage key stakeholder relationships, project quality, change control, and risk management processes.
- Take charge of business analyst responsibilities, including the development of key artifacts.
- Gather requirements and functional specifications from diverse stakeholders at all levels.
- Mentor team members to enhance in-house business analyst skills.
- Build effective relationships with stakeholders, ICT, project managers, and change managers to improve processes.
- Plan and execute the transition of operational areas based on business impact analysis.
- Collaborate with others to define business needs and create action plans, solution reports, or business cases.
- Facilitate communication across business units and represent the agency internally and externally.
- Support user acceptance testing to ensure deliverables accurately reflect requirements.
- Participate in Scale Agile Framework (SAFe) ceremonies.
Requirements:
- Baseline Clearance (mandatory).
- Proven experience in business analysis and project management.
- Strong stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to gather, analyze, and document requirements effectively.
- Experience in mentoring and developing team members.
- Familiarity with Agile methodologies, SAFe experience is a plus.
Deliverables:
- Feature definition documents.
- Business requirements documents and impact assessments.
- Gap analysis documents and strategy papers.
- Process flow diagrams and user stories.
