Job description
As a Senior Data Information Management Officer, you will play a crucial role in guiding the implementation of Data and Analytics Management Framework (DAMF). You'll work closely with stakeholders to enhance data management practices, provide expert advice, and support project delivery.
Key Responsibilities:
- Engage with stakeholders to understand data and information needs.
- Develop and deliver data management services and advice.
- Participate in stakeholder engagement activities to improve data management strategies.
- Prepare and present executive papers and briefings on data management initiatives.
- Provide knowledge transfer to team members and stakeholders.
- Drive continuous improvement in data management practices.
Requirements:
- Minimum 5 years of demonstrated experience in practical data management.
- Excellent stakeholder engagement skills.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Understanding of the data lifecycle.
Location and Working Arrangements: This position is based in the Australian Capital Territory (ACT), with flexibility for remote work. Attendance at on-site meetings is required at least 2 days a week.
Contract Details:
- Initial contract duration: 12 months
- Possible extension: 12 months, with the potential for 2 further extensions.
Security Clearance: Baseline security clearance is mandatory.
