Job description

Position Summary:

Seeking a dynamic and experienced Senior Manager for End-User Technology (EUT) Services to lead the strategic planning and delivery of efficient, secure, and innovative solutions across various technologies. This role will play a pivotal part in shaping the technological landscape to support our educational, research, and collaborative endeavors.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute a strategic vision for EUT services aligned with organizational goals.
  • Stay abreast of emerging trends and technologies in the EUC industry, providing recommendations for their implementation.
  • Manage relationships with 3rd party suppliers, ensuring adherence to contractual obligations and optimizing costs.
  • Oversee the budget and operational costs associated with EUT services, identifying opportunities for efficiency.
  • Evaluate and select appropriate technologies based on technical specifications and user requirements.
  • Implement maintenance plans to ensure optimal performance and reliability of EUC technologies.
  • Provide oversight and governance for EUC designs and implementations globally.
  • Set strategy and deliver platform roadmaps for scalability, security, and efficiency.
  • Manage the lifecycle of assets and oversee replacements across multiple locations.
  • Foster effective partnerships across internal stakeholders and our clients, driving operational excellence and continuous improvement.

Key Selection Criteria:

  • Extensive experience in managing global operations in complex enterprise environments.
  • Demonstrated expertise in developing and implementing technology roadmaps aligned with organizational strategy.
  • Proven leadership in EUC technologies, including design, implementation, and maintenance.
  • Strong commercial acumen in managing 3rd party suppliers and strategic partnerships.
  • Technical and thought leadership with a track record of building high-performing teams.
  • Exceptional relationship-building, negotiation, and influencing skills.
  • Proficiency in managing 3rd party suppliers and risk/vulnerability management.

Qualifications:

  • Mandatory: 7+ years of operational management in complex EUC environments, stakeholder collaboration, and technology roadmap creation.
  • Highly Desirable: Bachelor's degree in a related field, industry certifications in EUC, and vendor certifications.
