Job description
We are looking for a skilled Senior Systems Analyst with experience in support of large finance/billing systems with good understanding of underlying database structures and strong SQL skills to work within a sought-after SA Government Department.
About you:
- Strong database analysis skills particularly with use of Oracle SQL to access large databases/data sets to assist with analysis, reporting and reconciliation
- Proven experience in Data Analysis, Reporting, finance reconciliation and support for financial/patient billing systems.
- Good Report/Dashboard writing skills, with preference for Oracle business intelligence reporting systems.
- Good understanding of ETL concepts using Informatica Tools
- Excellent functional analysis skills, particularly with regard to understanding and assessing finance and revenue system functions and associated proposed changes.
- Successful record of identifying business requirements and developing appropriate remedial strategies and change specifications to reengineer business processes and systems.
- Excellent communication skills, both oral and written.
- Good time and schedule management to achieve timelines.
