Paxus is partnering with a large state government department who are currently undertaking a large digital transformation program across their business systems. As part of this program, an opportunity for a Solution Architect to join their project office on an 18 month contract has become available.
Role/Responsibilities
As the Solution Architect, you will be part of a team who are responsible for delivering on the conceptual, physical and logical solution architecture aspects for significant Application Development and Delivery initiatives.
This encompasses both functional and technical aspects across each of the identified Programs of Works to design and deliver core solutions on existing and new systems, encompassing Student Management and Enrolment solutions or the various supporting framework systems.
Skills/Experience
- Demonstrated (minimum recent five years) Solution Architecture experience in the design and implementation of on-premises/ cloud/ hybrid solutions with a strong preference to the Microsoft technology stacks for large, complex solutions with high levels of integration;
- Demonstrated experience (minimum 5 years) developing and delivering solution's on Microsoft .Net tech stack with .Net 4.5+ and .Net Core (C#, MVC and Entity Framework), SQL Server and SPA frameworks such as React or Angular;
- Demonstrable and solid experience with solution (both functional and technical) architecture and practical implementation of stable, viable solutions;
- Demonstrated experience in delivering Business Information Systems and architectural components such as Application Programming Interfaces (APIs) over the Software Development Life Cycle, including their architecture, design, development and delivery;
- Leads the development of architectures for complex systems, ensuring consistency with specified requirements agreed with both external and internal customers including Business teams and Development/ Technical teams;
