Job description

We are looking for an enthusiastic, self-motivated team player with excellent technical and communication skills, that will be able to quickly understand and adhere to organisational policy, procedures, and security requirements for supporting and maintaining our Identity, Authentication and Network Addressing environments. You should be able to contribute to our positive and participatory team culture, manage competing priorities and achieve results.

The purpose of this role is to provide operational support within the Enterprise Active Directory team supporting the key technologies listed below.

Required Skills

  • Active Directory Infrastructure installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting.
  • Scripting and automation (PowerShell, DSC, etc.)
  • Microsoft Windows Server technologies
  • Network Addressing infrastructure (DNS, DHCP)
  • Service Now or equivalent ITSM Tool
  • ITIL Framework and associated ITSM standards

Nice to Have Skills

  • Active Directory Federation Services
  • Enterprise PKI Infrastructure
  • Entra ID Administration
  • VMWare ESX
  • Microsoft SCOM

You will be assessed on your ability to demonstrate the following key requirements, knowledge and experience. Within the context of the key responsibilities described above under '"About the Role', the ideal applicant will be someone who can demonstrate the following:

  • A minimum of 3 years' hands on experience in required skill categories in a large complex environment
  • A high level of initiative, attention to detail, accountability, and ability to follow the processes
  • Demonstrated abilities to follow ITIL best practices in Incident, Change, and Problem management processes
  • Knowledge and experience maintaining strict security guidelines
  • Prior experience of establishing technical standards and recommending best practices
  • Provide onsite and remote support for the systems we look after
  • Ability to perform root-cause analysis on troubleshooting complex issues
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to liaise with all levels of staff, customers, and vendors
  • Self-initiative and ability to work without constant supervision
  • A police background check may be required prior to start this role
