About the Role:

You'll be joining a prominent ASX-listed business, a leader in the travel industry. Collaborating across cross-functional teams, you'll predominantly focus on enhancing the content page site, where much of their marketing material is showcased. Directly managing a team of 4 Engineers within a larger team of 10, comprised of various roles, you'll play the pivotal role in driving their digital initiatives forward.

Their key technologies include Drupal as their primary content management system, complemented by React and Node.js. While Drupal experience is advantageous, if you're proficient in WordPress or similar platforms, you'll seamlessly integrate into their team.

About You:

  • Possess experience with web Content Management Systems such as Drupal (preferred), WordPress, or similar platforms.
  • Seasoned Senior Software Engineer with 7+ years of professional experience in high-impact roles within complex enterprise organisations
  • Proven expertise in designing and building with React (preference) or Angular AND Node.js
  • Strong proficiency in software testing, excelling in both unit tests and UI tests using Cypress, Selenium, Jest, and other industry-leading tools.
  • Extensive front end tooling, build tools, and package managers such as Webpack and Babel to name a couple.
  • Deep understanding and implementation of Agile principles and processes, along with a strong grasp of modern software engineering practices

Highly Desirable:

  • Experience with Serverless applications
  • Knowledge of SSR methodologies and frameworks like Next.js
  • Exposure to AWS services such as EKS, Lambda, API Gateway, DynamoDB, S3, and Cloudfront
  • Knowledge of DevOps tooling and practices
