Role Outline
A highly respected Data Analytics company is looking to add a Big Data Engineer to their team. This will involve working on a range of projects for Data Analytics, mobility and telecommunications as well as other key products.
In this role you will be working with Data Analysts, Data Engineers, Data Scientists and Product Managers to deliver client projects. You will have strong technical skills with big data platforms and the technologies that power them.
Skills and experience required:
Highly experienced Big Data Engineer
Big Data Platforms - Hadoop, AWS or Cloudera
Cloud Platforms - AWS (EMR, EC2, EBS or Route53)
Development knowledge (Java, Scala, Python or Spark)
CI/CD Tools i.e. Jenkins, GitHub etc
Ability to communicate with technical, non-technical and customers
On offer to the successful applicant is a Big Data Engineer role with long term career potential. A salary package of up to $185k inclusive of superannuation located in Macquarie Park.
